Q. Is there a membership fee to access the information on the site?

A. No. There is not a cost to use the site. Users are required to set up a user name and password and share some of their demographic information to access the site.

Q. Does the site include all of the providers in my county?

A. Yes and no. We do our best to capture all of the providers in a county that have a brick and mortar location. We are constantly searching for providers to include on the site and regularly update their information. At this time we do not capture home based business providers.

Q. Are there home-based businesses on the site?

A. At this time the site only includes “brick and mortar” businesses. In the near future we intend to include home-based businesses in the following categories; child care, swimming, education, and music.

Q. Can I save or store provider information for programs I am interested in or have registered my child for in the past?

A. Yes. Users have a “favorites” folder to capture programs that they have registered children for in the past or intend to register in the future.

Q. Who rates the providers?

A. Parents, guardians or caregivers rate providers. Every time a user rates a provider a user must agree to the following conditions:

“By rating or commenting on this program I acknowledge that I had majority responsibility for my child’s participation in this program. That includes and is not limited to the registration process, being the primary point of contact for the program provider and routinely observing my child’s participation in the program. In so doing I also routinely observed the program providers instructors, staff, and facilities. My intent is to provide objective, civil, feedback and will refrain from profanity or disparaging remarks in my written comments.”

Q. Do providers pay to have their business information on the site?

A. Yes, some providers pay for sponsored advertisements, sponsored content, or provider placement on the site. No providers receive placement preference on the site due to their advertising investment in sponsored advertisements or sponsored content.

Q. I would like to be included with the other providers on the site. How do I do that?

A. Email your URL, email address, name and phone number to providers@myactivityadvisor.com.

Q. Is there a cost to be listed on the site?

A. No.

Q. What provider information is listed on the website?

A. We post to the site only public facing business details that are included on your website or on your social media.

Q. Do users pay to be on the site?

A. No. Users do  not pay to be on the site.

Q. Who rates the programs?

A. We require that only parents, caregivers and guardians provide reviews. We require that each person who provides a review comply with the following:
